I'm done with school this thursday, and i'm so excited to be done for the semester, because for once, everyone i know is not asking me to hang out BEFORE finals, but starting to ask now as to what is going on for the winter break. It's gonna be my last winter break (cuz i'm prob graduating in may) so i have to do fun things during it.

what else..i basically wanted to just complain about myspace, but since i'm here i might as well write something.

ooh i know, TAC got a new bassist and our first show is in a couple weeks, dec 29th. at village pub south. it's 16+, and everyone should go. I'll have a flyer up or some shit, once the bands are finalized.

exciting things to happen as of late:

-went to salem for halloween with frank and had ridiculous amounts of fun
-got my passport in the mail, so now other countries get to feel my wrath, not just the u.s.
-got my two weeks vacation time (finally) at work, so get to plan something PHATTY

yeah i dunno. that's about it, but i'm really psyched about those three things. that and winter is almost here, which means ridiculous (i mean it this year) amounts of snowboarding.

i'm in florida. it is pretty fun. i went on my first plane ride on the way here. that's exciting. i couldn't get over the fact that it took less time to get to florida by plane then to brooklyn by car (in traffic). did disney and crap, non-stop madness...now i get to relax for a couple days and then come home and get ready for our first show (of many), and continue working on the recording, yay. vacation was definitely much needed, and put a lot of crap into perspective, which is good. i want starbucks.

School is officially over for the summer. I finished the last of my final crap today, I had to write an in class essay, and take a quiz. I also stayed after and made up 2 other quizzes, which was totally awesome of my English teacher to let me do. So I might actually do well in that class. I have an unofficial A in my other class, and I go tomorrow to get my paperwork signed for the internship. YES. I'll be seeing a lot of Manhattan, the LIRR, and CompUSgay this summer...but everything will pay off. As long as everything goes well at the internship, it's ALLLLL good. Plus I have a few other tricks up my sleeve, yeeeah.

Yesterday we had some NY Islanders/Dragons event at Comp, and it was pretty damn fun. There was a dj and free food and crap, and I ran around with like 20 pieces of flair on. I got behind people in pictures and opened my mouth full of food more than a few times to get in on that shit. I also got pictures with a giant walking salad, as well as the Islanders' mascot. I don't even really like the Islanders, but it was still a great time, and I met a few important people that could actually probably help me in life, unlike the management at comp. If work was like that every weekend I would actually like it.

I can't wait until my vacation to Florida, I need to get the F out of here. The stress is killing me, but I'm glad I have the trip to look forward to, as well as starting to play out and all sorts of other good things. This summer might not completely suck, imagine that. Yes, my friend Chris just walked into the lab at school, I'm out like Bada in dodgeyball.

I just finished my Financial Market and Institutions final. It was 20 questions, open book. I was done in 25 minutes. I didn't feel like doing any of the calculations, so I may have gotten a few wrong. But it's ok, I have an A in that class regardless, I really didn't even have to take the final. But I wanted the teacher to know that I gave a shit, anyway.

Everything's cool with the internship for the summer. It's officially on my schedule for school for summer session, and I just have to go to the city and get the paperwork filled out. Oh yeah, and pay Farmingdale $600+ by the end of this month. But, the lady at F'dale did take out the crappiest class I had yet to take and replaced it with this, so that was an added bonus. Oh yeah and I still have to tell my boss that I'll only be working 4 days a week this summer. That should be fun.

Now I just have to find out what electives I want to take until I graduate, because other than 1 class, that's all I have left. YEEEAH BOYEEEE.

school ends this week, which is excellent news. that way i can dive into splinter cell full force without having to wake up early in the morning the next day- hopefully before frank finishes the game entirely, because the whole reason i bought it was to share the experience with him...such is my life.

hopefully i can get my internship squared away before school ends, what a pain in the ass that is. hopefully the stuffy administration at farmingjail will feel that i'm worthy of credits, so i can get this show on the road.

band is going very well. should be playing out by summer. I'm not kidding. Everything is in place. YES.

I want starbucks, and I have to cash my check. I think I'll do both of those things shortly.

I want to hang out with bleakharvest again, he was fun. A trip to the city is in order. I mean another one, in addition to Aaron's air guitar competition in a couple of weeks. We're making it An Amber Outing, and the first one to the city at that. I'm excited.

anyway, last night i had a dream that i went to franks, and we found out it was going to snow 7 inches. mind you, it was one of those days where today was actually today, so it wasn't the winter, it was april. and we were like yeah right it's like a million degrees out but then we went outside and it had already snowed 4 inches. and all these people were out in the streets all pissed but we were happy because we were going to get to go snowboarding once more this year. we were gonna go home to get my snowboarding stuff but then i woke up (late, at that). I woke up and was pissed off that there was no snow. It's like 70 degrees today, which I guess is pretty good too.

went to see jimmy eat world and taking back sunday last night. The show was fabulous. Jimmy Eat World was extremely tight, but very boring onstage. The lights and other crazy bling bling made up for it I guess. I took a picture and used it as my background on here, so check it. Then Taking Back Sunday played. They were extremely tight, the singer was totally ON (imgaine that), and their presence and stage show was absolutely amazing. I guess that's what happens when you get lots of money and lots of time to practice. Good for them, that's awesome. Gives Long Island a bit of notoriety, for what that's worth. I took a picture that came out good but I wasn't able to upload it because my home connection is being totally GAE, so I'll have to do it later. I saw mike sherman (fleury that one's for you, because i know you love name posts) which was wonderful. His band is doing awesome, totally kickass.
